Northwest Bend

Northwest (NW) Bend is a particularly attractive quadrant for those who spend a lot of time outdoors. In just a few minutes, residents may access nearby hiking trails, mountain biking, and beautiful parks at sites like Mount Bachelor, and of course, the Deschutes River, which runs through the east side of NW Bend. Plus, you can easily access a myriad of recreational opportunities such as restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, bars, shops, and other neighborhood conveniences in NW Bend. The boundaries of this quadrant extend all the way south beyond downtown Bend and Old Bend, areas that host some of the best attractions Bend has to offer. NW Bend includes the following neighborhoods: Awbrey Butte, Summit West, River West, and Old Bend. Living in NW Bend does come with a hefty price tag. Northeast Bend

Northeast (NE) Bend is an exceptional option for investors and an ideal area for first-time homebuyers as it’s the most affordable quadrant in Bend. The majority of homes in NE Bend surround the ever-expanding St. Charles Medical Center, the largest hospital in Central Oregon, and a level-2 trauma center. Bordered by US-97 to the east and the Deschutes National Forest to the west, SW Bend enjoys both natural beauty and convenient access to other parts of town.
