My name is Allison Rayburn and I am so excited to connect with you! My family moved to Bend from a small town in Texas when I was in high school, and I became completely enamored with central Oregon. I have now called Bend home for over 20 years! As a teenager, I quickly fell in love with outdoor activities in Bend such as cliff jumping into the Deschutes River, camping at the alpine lakes, hiking in the mountains, and playing in the snow at Mt. Bachelor. As an adult raising my own child here now, I still love the outdoors but also greatly appreciate the well-maintained parks in every neighborhood, the high quality of the schools, the live music options, excellent food choices, and the incredible amount of kid and dog-friendly activities accessible to families.
When I have ever thought of leaving Bend, my mind quickly returns to the easy access to endless outdoors pursuits, the relaxed healthy lifestyle, and the warm and friendly community, all of which make Bend the perfect place for our family . I am passionate about spending my free time exploring every corner of Oregon through backcountry skiing, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and mountain biking.
At my core, I love building relationships with people. From a young age, friends and family would marvel at my desire and ability to connect with people in any setting. I truly enjoy finding common ground with everyone and am excited about helping people find a home in central Oregon to begin (or continue) their adventure here. Because I have lived in Bend for so many years, I have watched our small town grow into a thriving city and have my finger on the pulse of every nook and cranny of housing options in Bend and the surrounding area.
My background as a wilderness therapy guide, social worker, and educator in central Oregon has fueled my desire and passion for helping people thrive in their lives. Through buying and selling my own home in Bend, I realized the importance of having someone you deeply trust leading you through this process, especially as a first-time home buyer/seller or someone moving from out of town.
